The Clock of Cișmigiu

The Clock of Cișmigiu is located in Cismigiu Park, in the very heart of Bucharest. Built in 1891, the clock is a beautiful iron-framed structure, decorated with intricate patterns of the Romanian Brancoveanu style and which stands guard over the park. The clock is a historical monument, one of the few remaining vestiges of the city's Belle Epoque, and a much-visited landmark by both locals and tourists.
