Temple De La Merced

The Temple De La Merced is an 18th century Baroque-Style church located in the city of Aguascalientes. It is a national heritage site and the largest church of its kind in Mexico. Famed for its remarkable architecture, the temple features three naves with gilded altars, baroque mural paintings and statues of saints. Its main facade is adorned with two notable bell towers. Inside, visitors will find a crypt, a baptistery, an old chapel and a museum displaying religious artifacts.
