Reichstag Building

The Reichstag Building is Germany's main government building and one of Berlin's main attractions. It is a magnificent structure of steel, glass, and stone situated on the banks of the Spree River in the heart of Berlin. Home to the German Parliament, the building, which includes a renowned dome, has been restored after being heavily damaged during World War II. The dome is one of the top tourist attractions in Berlin with its impressive glass construction and amazing views from the top. Likewise, a visit to the famous plenary hall is a must. It has seen some of the most important events in German history, including the signing of the Basic Law, the German constitution, in 1949. Other interesting spots to visit in the building include the underground exhibition, the cupola, and the two other areas with panoramic views of the city. There are guided tours available inside, but visits to the terrace and dome can only be done with a ticket.
