Port de Dinan

Port de Dinan is a scenic fishing harbour located in the commune of Lanvallay in the French province of Brittany. It is situated on the estuary of the River Rance and provides harbour facilities for crossing to various other seaside localities up and down the coast of Brittany. It was built originally in the early 19th century as a hub for commercial shipping, fishing, and other maritime activities. Nowadays, the harbour has become a popular tourist attraction with a variety of restaurants, bars, and shops along its bustling quayside. The picturesque waterfront is ideal for a casual stroll, and a range of nearby beaches provide a pleasant escape from the hustle and bustle of the port. There are also various sightseeing points along the waterfront. Boat trips are available which head out towards nearby islands and offer great views of the island-dotted Rance estuary.
