Parkbos De Haar

Parkbos De Haar is located in the heart of Holland and sits in the shadow of the beautiful castle of Haarzuilens. It is a large wooded area with many trails, lakes, ponds and windmills which provide plenty of opportunity for recreation and relaxation. The park is particularly known for its variety of bird species and varied animal life. Visitors can explore the numerous grass and heath meadows, cycling along shaded paths and paddling around the lake. There is something special at every corner and enjoyable for everyone. The park has 500 hectares of meandering and tranquil paths, where visitors can observe the herds of fallow deer, roe deer and mouflon that are present here. Even rarer species can be spotted if you’re lucky. The park also includes a an old Dutch farmstead, an eighteenth-century beach pavilion on the lake, meadows filled with wildflowers, old windmills, a renowned restaurant and an 18-hole golf course. Parkbos De Haar is a sanctuary of itself, offering visitors a chance to reconnect with nature.
