The Millennium Bridge is a pedestrian suspension bridge connecting the Bankside area of Greater London with the City of London, crossing the River Thames. It is located on the site of a former railway bridge and officially opened in 2000, becoming the first new river crossing in London since Tower Bridge was completed in 1894. The bridge offers spectacular views of St. Paul's Cathedral, the Shard, Tower Bridge, Tate Modern, the Globe Theatre and many other iconic landmarks making it a must-see destination for tourists and photographers.
