Matterhorn - Cervino

Matterhorn - Cervino and Riffelberg Trail is one of the most striking hiking trails in Zermatt, Switzerland, featuring a unique natural landscape dominated by the notorious Matterhorn as well as some of the surrounding peaks of the Alps. You can either take a chairlift that takes you to the peak or climb up the mountain to the Riffelberg station from where you can have breath-taking panoramic views of the town of Zermatt and the surrounding glaciers, valleys and mountain peaks. The Matterhorn Trail follows the jaw-droppingly beautiful scenery of the Matterhorn Glacier, offering some of the most spectacular hikes in Europe. Along the way, you'll find some incredible vantage points, where you’ll be able to spot gorgeous wildlife. On the descent, you'll be able to see the beautiful meadows, aquamarine lakes and traditional stone-built villages which dot the area.
