Fanad Head Lighthouse

Fanad Head Lighthouse is located in the Arryheernabin area of County Donegal in Ireland. This picturesque lighthouse is over a hundred years old and is still in full operation today. The lighthouse stands at the end of Fanad Head Peninsula, inspiring visitors with panoramic views of the surrounding coastline and Larne Lough. Constructed of local gray granite, the lighthouse is nestled among white-painted cottages among lush green fields and hills. The hike from the parking area to the lighthouse is a leisurely walk with several amazing lookout points.
