El Pas de la Casa is a resort village in Andorra famed for its ski area. Located in the Grandvalira ski area in the Pyrenees mountains, it has traditionally been a gateway between France and Andorra. While winter visits are popular, due to the wonderful skiing and snowsports, El Pas de la Casa also has an array of activities for those who prefer to travel outside the ski season.
The Bomber's Viewpoint is a popular destination in El Pas de la Casa, and is situated on top of the highest peak of the village. For a spectacular 360° view, you can walk up the 490 steps to the viewpoint, which has been built from the remains of an aeroplane crashed during World War II. On a clear day you can admire the magnificent view of the Pyrenees mountain range and the different valleys El Pas de la Casa lies between.
