Vessel

The Vessel is an iconic modern sculpture in New York City located in the Hudson Yards neighborhood, designed by British designer Thomas Heatherwick. With its 16 interconnecting flights of stairs, 154 flights, 2,500 steps and 80 viewing landings, The Vessel stands at 150 feet above the public plaza beneath it. The structure offers panoramic views of the city, the Hudson River and the surrounding neighborhood. Travelers can take the seven minute elevator ride to the scenic walkway at the top. The Vessel is free to the public and has been open since March of 2019. Don't forget to explore the public plaza below The Vessel which is designed as a path leading to the nearby High Line.
