Torna Fort

Torna Fort, also known as Prachandagad, is a popular destination for trekkers and photo-travelers, standing at an elevation of 1403 meters in the Sahyadri mountain range. Known for its historical significance and scenic beauty, the fort offers panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and lakes, making it an excellent subject for photography, especially during the monsoon when the flora is in full bloom. Adjacent to it, Zunjar Machi presents another vantage point, offering unique perspectives of the fort and its rugged surroundings. The best time to capture the ethereal beauty of Torna and Zunjar Machi is early morning or late afternoon when the light is soft, and the shadows sculpt the landscape, adding depth to your photographs. The trek to the fort is moderately challenging, adding an element of adventure to your photo expedition. Remember to carry water, as facilities are sparse, and be mindful of the weather conditions. The monsoon season, while beautiful, can make the trek slippery and more challenging.
