Ponta Da Piedade

Ponta da Piedade is a beautiful and picturesque headland located on the south-western end of the city of Lagos, in the Southern Portuguese region of Algarve. Made of spectacular red-and-yellow-hued cliffs and islets surrounded by the vast Atlantic ocean, this sight is absolutely breathtaking and worth capturing with your camera! It is reachable by boat and a plethora of tours offer trips mapped around this coastal gem, including trekking and kayak trips. The top of the headland offers beautiful views of the ocean and a lighthouse that has been there since the 19th century. Ponta da Piedade is also home to multiple sea cave formations, many of which are accessible by boat and surrounded by turquoise waters.
