Pont Alexandre III

Pont Alexandre III is a stunning bridge across the Seine in Paris. It was built to celebrate the restored alliance between France and Russia at the start of the 20th century, and is decorated with gold-plated statues, art nouveau lamps and impressive bas reliefs. It's one of the most visited landmarks in Paris, and it's a unique fusion of two styles: classical and art nouveau. On the lower level you can find two bronze horses, a representation of Emperor Napoleon I, as well as various nymphs and cherubs representing the four seasons. It's a great place to walk around, take pictures and admire the view of the river. You can also enjoy wonderful walks along the Seine nearby. You won't find a more beautiful bridge in Paris.
