Playa Varese

Playa Varese is one of the most popular beaches in Mar del Plata and a great place for swimming and sunbathing. It has sand and pebbles, and its clear waters are ideal for snorkeling and diving. The beach is protected by an artificial breakwater, which creates a calmer environment in the beach area and is great for kids. There are also a variety of beach bars and restaurants along the shore. On the north end of the beach there is a protected park with hiking trails and nature reserves, where you can also find a lighthouse which provides some great views of the ocean. Nearby you can visit the ornamental lakes, with their impressive and diverse bird population.
