Lake Suwa

Lake Suwa is one of the most picturesque natural sights in Japan, located in Suwa, Nagano. On the shores of the lake lies Tamatsukuri Onsen, a hot spring town full of traditional Japanese inns and souvenir shops. This is a wonderful place to stay the night and experience Japanese tradition. Climb the Suwako Shrine to get a stunning view of the entire area. There are also many good restaurants in the area serving local specialties like tempura and soba.
