Korean Friendship Bell

The Korean Friendship Bell is located in the Angeles district in Los Angeles, California. This bronze monument was created to commemorate the friendship between the US and Korea. It is a symbol of peace and understanding between the two nations and is also inscribed with the histories of both countries. The bell is sixteen and a half feet tall and was cast in Korea. The inside of the bell is inscribed with quotes from President Eisenhower and South Korea's Prime Minister. The bell is housed in a Balinese pagoda style pavilion and its grounds are landscaped with a panoramic ocean view.
