Devil's Slide Trail

The Devil’s Slide Trail is an 8.5-mile coastal trail located in San Mateo County, United States. It was built in 2014 as an alternative to the old Pacific Coast Highway, which suffered from frequent rock slides. Meandering along the coastal ridge-top of the Santa Cruz Mountain, the trail is well-known for its scenic views, coastal landscapes, and several tunnels. The trail is accessible all through the year and includes small parking spots that can accommodate motorcycles and cars. Visitors may also enjoy exploring several side trails and observation points, including Greyhound Rock, which offers amazing views of the Pacific Ocean, and is a popular picnic spot with a large meadow.
