Castello di Bominaco is a picturesque castle located in the small town of Caporciano, in the Abruzzo region of Italy. The majestic fortress was built in the 13th century on a small rocky hill and overlooks the Navelli Valley. Its architectural style is typical of the medieval period and was built by Benedictine monks from nearby Abbazia di Sant’Eustachio. Inside the fortified central structure, visitors can explore the main tower and its typical spiral stairwell, along with thick defensive walls and the small chapel from the 16th century.
