Yaquina Bay Lighthouse

The Yaquina Bay Lighthouse is a charming white and red-striped lighthouse in Newport, Oregon, United States. It is situated in the Yaquina Bay State Park and is the only lighthouse in Oregon's state parks. Built in 1871, it was the first of the state's nine lighthouses to be built and is an excellent example of Pacific Northwest coastal architecture. The lighthouse is a popular spot for visitors to view the ocean, listen to the birds, and explore the history of lighthouses in the area. Visitors should take a walk up the staircase to the top of the tower to take in the view and take pictures.
