SS Ayrfield - AustraliaU@sydneylens - UnsplashSS Ayrfield📍 AustraliaSS Ayrfield is a former coal ship which is located in Australia's Sydney Harbour. It was built in 1911 and was used to help with shipbuilding yards in England during World War II. After the war, the Ayrfield was eventually brought to a demolition site in Homebush Bay, where it was left to rust. Over the years, local people tended to the ship, while trees gradually began to take over the vessel, providing it with a tranquil and other-worldly feeling. The Ayrfield is now a popular site for visitors and photographers, who come to admire the beautiful contrasts of man-made and nature. This can be seen in the fully grown trees that jut out of the front of the ship, as well as in the weeping willow trees cascading down the vessel. Visitors can admire the haunting beauty of the ship from the shore, with the best view from the Bay Run in Iron Cove. The impressive and eerie sight of the SS Ayrfield is a must-see for anyone visiting the area.TOP🗺 HaritaHaritada Göster🎫 Turistik yerlerYakındaki turistik yerleri kontrol edin🏨 YurtlarYakındaki hostelleri kontrol edin🌦 Hava durumu bilgisiUygulamadan hava durumu bilgilerini ve çok daha fazlasını alın.
