Portland’s skyline from Pittock Mansion is a breathtaking view. Located high above the city on a grassy hill, the Pittock Mansion was built in 1914 for the Pittock family, a well-known name in the Portland area. The view from the Mansion offers extensive views of downtown and the numerous bridges that span the Willamette River. You’ll have the best views of Portland’s skyline at sunset or in the nighttime when all the lights come on. Getting to the Mansion’s viewpoint is easy by car or bike and a small entrance fee is required to access the grounds. There’s plenty of trails and grassy areas to explore around the mansion, too. Make sure to bring a camera - the view of the city is just phenomenal!
