The National Museum of Singapore is a must-see destination for any traveler visiting Singapore. Located in the Old Supreme Court Building, the National Museum houses an extensive range of artefacts and showcases the country’s history, culture and lifestyle. The museum is divided into three main areas: the Singapore History Gallery, depicting the history of Singapore from its beginnings to the present day; the Kwok Brothers Gallery, exploring the colourful history of the Chen Clan; and the Living Galleries, highlighting the changing social, cultural and economic landscape of Singapore. Each area offers interactive audio tours, and there are also onsite exhibitions and workshops, as well as a shop which stocks locally produced souvenirs. Visitors can explore the museum at their own leisure, or join one of the daily guided tours which are available throughout the day.
