Zalyshky Rusʹkoi Bramy

Zalyshky Rusʹkoi Bramy, or "Keys of the Russian Gate", is a former baroque complex located in L'viv, Ukraine. Built in 1746, it served as an additional defense to the defensive walls of the city and consists of two towers which once served as a drawbridge and guard posts. Nowadays it is an open-air museum and its fortifications remain extremely well-preserved. It is a popular tourist destination in this area within Ukraine, and its incredible architecture has been admired by many. To this day, its defense mechanisms are still visible, although it no longer serves its original purpose. Nearby you can find the Austrian Cemetery, the Lychakivskiy Cemetery, the Jewish Cemetery, and other interesting historical buildings.
