Vander Veer Botanical Park

Vander Veer Botanical Park is a public park located in Davenport, United States. It comprises of two parks, the South Park and the North Park, that cover 24 hectares of rolling hills and ravines, offering a scenic and tranquil environment. The parks are well-known for their vast array of flora and fauna. They are home to nearly 140 varieties of native and introduced trees, species of ferns, wildflowers, grasses, and native shrubs. Other attractions include a large reflecting pool, summer-blooming flowers, and a butterfly garden. The South Park is a popular spot for visitors and offers walking trails, two open-air shelters, and a variety of playgrounds, picnic areas, and benches. The North Park is a more secluded area that offers magnificent views overlooking downtown Davenport. There is also a new observation tower with sweeping views of the surrounding area.
