Torre Bianca

Torre Bianca (White Tower) is a castle tower near the city of Bellinzona, Switzerland. This tower is situated atop a hill surrounded by the Lago di Teggio and Lago di Davesco. It is the only survivor of three medieval towers that were constructed between_13th and 15th centuries to defend the old city. The tower draws its name from the white limestone blocks which were used to build it.

Today, the Torre Bianca is open for the public to explore and offers stunning views of the city and the surrounding mountain ranges. Inside, there is a small gallery with picture collections and several artifacts. There is also a cafe inside the tower. The tower is considered a symbol of the city and is a popular tourist attraction. Visitors can access the tower either on foot or by car. There is a parking lot available for those who decide to drive up to the top. The road to the tower passes through several small villages where travelers can get a glimpse of life of local people. From the top of the tower, visitors can catch a magnificent panoramic view of the area.
