St Georg Church

St Georg Church in Dinkelsbühl, Germany, is an amazing piece of architecture. In the heart of this walled city, St Georg Church towers above the other buildings. Built between 1405 and 1500 in late Gothic style, the exterior is grand and noteworthy. Inside this magnificent building you will find 13th century frescoes and elaborate wood carvings. The two most impressive paintings, located on the left and right side walls, are “The Last Judgement” and ‘“The Garden of Earthly Delights.” These are sure to take your breath away. St Georg Church also has an astronomical clock with an automated show of angels playing music and a “Dance of Death.” It’s an amazing piece of art and history and definitely worth the visit.
