Sokollu Mehmet Pasha Mosque

Sokollu Mehmet Pasha Mosque, located in Küçük Ayasofya Mahallesi, Turkey, is a beautiful religious structure built during the 16th century by Serb architect Mimar Sinan. It was commissioned by the Grand Vizier Sokollu Mehmet Pasha in the name of Ottoman Sultan Selim II. It is a combination of Ottoman and Byzantine styles of architecture, boasting a unique blend of a variety of interior and exterior designs. The interior remains unchanged since its construction, with original frescoes adorning the walls. Its exterior features the original four minarets with differently designed windows.
