Pasaje de los Álamos

Pasaje de los Álamos (Alley of the Poplars) is an ancient pedestrian alley in Oviedo, Spain. It is an ideal spot to soak in the ambiance of old Oviedo. Its cobbled floor, low stone walls and tall trees on both sides of the alley evoke an impression of old times. This place is filled with history, but surrounded by modern buildings and pavements. It is common to find locals portraying traditional customs here. The remains of the ancient wall built by Alfonso II are also visible. Pasaje de los Álamos is a perfect spot for a leisurely walk to enjoy the beauty of previous centuries.
