Long Son Pagoda

Long Son Pagoda is the tallest pagoda in Nha Trang, Vietnam. The temple is located on Trai Thuy Mountain and is one of the most sacred sites in the city. It features a 50-foot tall white Buddha statue nicknamed ‘Giant Sleeping Buddha’ that is visible from afar. The pagoda is home to beautiful murals, ancient sculptures, prayer halls and various other Buddhist artifacts. It also has an impressive tower that was built to commemorate 400 monks and nuns who became martyrs during the war against the French in 1954. Visitors can check out the huge bell, drums and small pagodas inside the complex. There is also a temple university where monks teach Buddhism and meditation. It is an impressive sight to behold and worth visiting!
