Golfbaan Marknesse is a quiet and peaceful 9-holes golf course located in Marknesse in the middle of the Dutch countryside. It is believed to be the oldest established golf course in the Netherlands when it opened in 1932. The tranquil golf course offers a classic game play experience over well maintained and thoughtfully designed courses. With a combination of narrow fairways, strategically placed bunkers and the ever-changing wind conditions, Golfbaan Marknesse is an excellent challenge for both the casual and experienced golfer alike. Green fees are reasonable and cart rentals, as well as club and ball sets, can be easily rented at the club house. While the main focus here is on golf, special events such as wedding receptions, meetings and parties are also hosted. Despite being a modest sized club with only 9-holes, the clubhouse contains a bar, several changing rooms and lockers for your convenience. There is also an outdoor garden with several seating arrangements, perfect for a summer day with friends.
