Fortress Hohensalzburg

Fortress Hohensalzburg is a magnificent medieval castle located in the city of Salzburg, Austria. It sits high above the city on a rocky hill, making it visible from almost everywhere. It was originally constructed in 1077 and has been expanded over the centuries. The current design features a four-story complex encircled by towers, courtyards and an inner ward.
