Fish Rocks

Fish Rocks is an impressive geological feature located in Searles Valley, United States. It is a strange-looking plateau of hexagonal rock formations which were created by intense geothermal heat over a long period of time. The giant hexagonal rock pillars are up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall and stretch for several acres. The strange-looking landscape provides some unique photo opportunities, including views of the badlands and a variety of foreground rocks. It is an aesthetically beautiful and tranquil place to explore, with plenty of opportunities to find interesting details and compositions. The site is accessible to the public and is a great spot for hiking, walking, photography and stargazing.
