Faro di San Domino

The Faro di San Domino is one of the most beautiful lighthouses situated in the Adriatic Sea. Located on the northern most of islands in Isole Tremiti, it has been an important landmark for sailors since its construction in 1886. The lighthouse itself is approximately 64 feet (20 meters) tall and stands on a rocky outcrop surrounded by clear, turquoise waters. From the top you can gaze out over the stunning scenery of the Isole Tremiti archipelago, with views of the Lagoa Blu and the two small uninhabited islands of San Nicola and Capraia in the distance.
