Eiffel Tower

The Eiffel Tower is one of the most recognizable symbols of Paris and a must-see for all visitors. Located on the Right Bank of the River Seine, the 324-meter-tall tower is an iron lattice structure crowned by an observation deck, and one of France’s most iconic tourist attractions. It was constructed in 1889 in memory of the centenary of the French Revolution and originally served as a powerful antenna for telegraph communications to large parts of the world. Nowadays, visitors can ascend the tower to enjoy unbeatable views of Paris and the stunning surrounding areas. The main observation deck is located at a height of 276 meters, while the top observation platform provides breathtaking views at a height of 375 meters. The Eiffel Tower also features a number of restaurants, including restaurant 58 Tour Eiffel and Le Jules Verne, and shopping facilities, including La Boutique du Monde.
