Conciergerie

The Conciergerie and Pont d'Arcole, in Paris, France are two historical and architectural sites worth visiting. Located on the banks of the Seine River, the Conciergerie is one of the oldest buildings in Paris, originally a palace of the Merovingian dynasty in the 9th century, and later the prison of Marie-Antoinette and Robespierre during the French Revolution. The Pont d'Arcole, one of the most iconic bridges in Paris, is also located nearby. With its seven arches and elegant structure, it offers perhaps some of the most interesting views of the city skyline, including the Notre-Dame Cathedral, which is just across the river.
