Colegiata de Santa Juliana

Colegiata de Santa Juliana, located in Santillana del Mar, Spain, is a stunning pre-Romanesque church, built in the 8th century, and consecrated by King Alfonso II in 848. It is one of the most famous monuments in Cantabria, and has served as a place of worship, education and protection to locals over the centuries. It has a stunning Romanesque façade, with a 12th century entrance door and its bell tower, rising above the church and the village.
