Church of Saint Michael

The Church of Saint Michael is a Romanesque-style church in the town of Rupit, in the comarca of Osona in the Province of Barcelona, Catalonia. Located in the heart of the Natural Park of Montseny, it is a popular tourist attraction and photographic site. The church is built on the side of a rocky outcrop, with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Inside, the church is decorated with beautiful frescoes and some of its pillars date back to the 11th century. The Church of Saint Michael is now part of the Fundación Monestir Santa Maria de Rupit, a foundation dedicated to preserving the heritage and local culture of Rupit and its surroundings. Visitors can take a guided tour of the church and its grounds, allowing them to experience the traditional culture and gastronomy of Rupit.
