Cathédrale Saint-Étienne de Meaux

The Cathédrale Saint-Étienne de Meaux, located in Meaux, France, is a Romanesque-style cathedral that dates back to the 12th century. The cathedral is known for its Gothic façade, restored in the 19th century and its five towers, including a bell tower. Inside, the cathedral is ornately decorated, with frescoes, stained glass windows, and an altarpiece from the early 16th century. To the north of the main building is the St. Fiacre Chapel and to the south is the Chapel of Notre-Dame du Puy, both built in the 13th century. Visitors can also view the 14th-century cloister, which is decorated with scenes from the Bible. On the south side of the cathedral is a garden and archaeological sites from the Gallo-Roman era.
