Avenida dos plátanos

Avenida dos Plátanos is a picturesque avenue located in the north of Portugal, in the town of Ponte de Lima. It is lined with plane trees, some of them more than 400 years old, which provide a unique atmosphere and offer a breathtaking sight. Despite the tranquility of the road, it has many restaurants, shops and monuments to visit. It is connected to the Ponte de Lima-Viana do Castelo hike trail and provides viewpoint over the Lima River and the green hills of the region.
