The Voznesensky Monastery is an important religious and cultural attraction of Perm. It is one of the oldest and biggest monasteries in the region, having served as a spiritual heart of the town over the centuries. The historic buildings of the complex were constructed between 1842 and 1845 and offer a unique insight into the past of Perm. The main temple of the monastery was built in the neo-Gothic style, while the small chapel and bell tower were built in the Neo-Renaissance style. Inside the main temple, you can find amazing frescoes and other works of art. Visitors can also explore the grounds and appreciate the tranquility of the monastery.
