It is famous for its unique annual flower parade, the Bloemencorso, during which enormous floats decorated with hundreds of brightly colored dahlias pass through the town's streets. The small city enjoys a rural atmosphere with gently rolling hills, lush forests, small ditches filled with water, and plenty of biking and hiking trails. A Must-see in Zundert is the Vincent van Gogh house, dating back to the 19th century when the artist's father was the local Protestant minister. Zundert also has several medieval churches, a traditional Dutch windmill, and a number of museums. Visitors can explore the town's unique architecture by taking a stroll along the historic main square and its many old buildings.
