Slangkop Lighthouse is located on the Cape Peninsula in Cape Town, South Africa. It is the tallest of all its lighthouses, with a total height of 47 meters. It was built in 1919 and is known to be one of the most powerful lights in South Africa. It was used to guide the ships which were passing the Cape of Good Hope.
