Schlossruine Neideck is one of the most remarkable historical sites in Arnstadt, Germany. It is the ruins of a 12th century castle with a total length of 660 metres. The ruins were originally part of a 12th century castle that stood on the hill where Schloss Neideck now stands. Located just a few kilometres away, the ruins consist of two towers, walls and a chapel. There are also some smaller ruins scattered around the area. The ruins offer spectacular views of the town of Arnstadt and its surroundings. Visitors are able to climb the ruins and get a closer look at the ruins and its history.
