Sant' Ignazio di Loyola Church - Från Inside, ItalyU@claybanks - UnsplashSant' Ignazio di Loyola Church📍 Från Inside, ItalyLocated in the historic centre of Rome, Sant' Ignazio di Loyola Church is among the most famous religious buildings of the Eternal City. Built in the late 17th century, it is highly appreciated by art and history lovers and tourists. Inside, visitors can admire the extravagant Baroque decorations and frescoes, the main altarpiece, and the beautiful marble statues. The architecture of the church is the result of the work of Andrea Pozzo, the talented Jesuit who designed many of the religious buildings of the area and who created an amazing illusionist perspective with the trompe l'oeil technique in the church's main vault. The church also houses the older rococo chapel of the Immaculate Conception. Despite the limited space, it is incredibly decorated, with marbles, stucco and decorations, reflecting the 18th century spirit.🗺 KartaVisa på kartan🎫 TuristattraktionerKolla turistattraktioner i närheten🏨 VandrarhemKolla vandrarhem i närheten🌦 VäderinformationFå väderinformation och mycket mer från appen.
