Today the Palace is home to the Uruguayan government offices and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Its rooms are used for state tourism, business, cultural and diplomatic acts and the grounds are open for public visits. It is open to the public year-round and visitors can explore the courtyards and gardens, as well as getting an up close and personal look at its impressive architecture.
