The Perrine Memorial Bridge is a historic truss bridge in Twin Falls, United States. It spans the great Snake River canyon and is a popular spot for sightseeing, as well as base jumping. The bridge is named after I. B. Perrine, the founder of the city, who had the bridge constructed in 1927. It was originally built with one lane but was widened to two lanes in 1956. The bridge is 486 feet long and has no guard rails, giving visitors an unrestricted view of the Snake River canyon beneath them. An observation deck on the east side of the bridge provides a clear and breathtaking view of the canyon. Visitors also appreciate the bridge’s elegant stained glass windows, which were added in 1980. The bridge is a great spot to take in the incredible scenery and to get a feel for the city’s diverse landscape and cultural history.
