Norrköpings kommun - Rådhuset

Norrköpings kommun is a commune located within the city of Norrkoping in South Eastern Sweden. Rådhuset is a historical Renaissance-style city hall building located in the Old Town (Gamla Stan) area of the Commun. Constructed between 1584 and 1609, this is one of the grand old buildings of Norrkoping and a very impressive sight for tourists. Inside the interior of the building is just as impressive, featuring ornate decorations and historical paintings. Visitors can also view a historic assembly hall and interesting artifacts. Visitors to the commune can also marvel at the Gothic-style Norrkoping Cathedral. This magnificent structure was built in 1823 and features an array of neo-classical and baroque decorations. Adjacent to the cathedral is the Old Town main square, a beautiful outdoor area decorated with historical sculptures and lively street performers. The Commun also has a lovely riverside promenade.
