Mueller Lake

Mueller Lake, in Canterbury, New Zealand, is a beautiful alpine lake with stunning snow-covered mountain views. It's located in the Aoraki/ Mt. Cook National Park and can be reached by a short but steep 1.5-2-hour hike from Mueller Hut. The lake offers spectacular views of the nearby Hooker Glacier and other snow-covered mountains in the area. The lake's crystal clear waters make it a great spot for reflections of the mountains. Bring your camping gear, as there are camping sites available alongside the lake. Make sure you bring your own supplies as there is no access to shops or supplies nearby. You are not allowed to do activities such as fishing and swimming so please stick to sightseeing and photography only.
