Mt Fuji & Chureito Pagoda - Från Arakurayama Sengen Park, JapanU@bananablackcat - UnsplashMt Fuji & Chureito Pagoda📍 Från Arakurayama Sengen Park, JapanThe Chureito Pagoda is one of Japan's most iconic landmarks. The five-story pagoda is located in Fujiyoshida, Japan, and it is part of the Arakura Sengen Shrine. It stands majestically at the base of Mount Fuji, and its bright orange façade is a stunning contrast against the mountain's snow-capped peak. A popular photo spot, this pagoda has been featured in many films and tv shows, most notably the movie “Lost in Translation”. The pagoda itself is an ancestral monument, built in 1963 to remember the victims of World War II. It is open daily, allowing visitors to admire the stunning views of Mount Fuji and get closer to the views of the pagoda by going to the viewing area at the bottom of the mountain. Visitors can also explore the Arakura Sengen Shrine with its many waterfalls and hiking trails. Although the pagoda is often used as a symbol of peace, its primary mission is to pay homage to the local war dead. The pagoda is a stunning sight and should not be missed if you’re in Japan.TOP🗺 KartaVisa på kartan🎫 TuristattraktionerKolla turistattraktioner i närheten🏨 VandrarhemKolla vandrarhem i närheten🌦 VäderinformationFå väderinformation och mycket mer från appen.
