Lifeguard Tower

The Lifeguard Tower on Miami Beach is an iconic sight of the city of Miami. Located at the southern end of the beach, the tower stands 40 feet tall and stands out among other buildings in the area. It is the only true Lifeguard tower on Miami Beach, though there are other lifeguard stands or towers nearby. The tower is painted in the traditional Miami Beach lifeguard colors - white and bright yellow - and has a doorway and a lattice guardrail on the first floor.
